...our policies cannot impose morality on people.

WHAT IMPOSED MORALITY?

We recognize the natural 'animal' sexual instinct (as opposed to 'human' qualities of self-control, selfless love and responsibility) that since ancient times has attracted individuals towards sexual self-gratification and promiscuity in many different ways.

We also recognize that these tendencies have consistently produced struggle, litigation, illness, poverty, tension, conflict, children misery and psychological problems.

We thus believe that many of these problems can be prevented or solved through stable relationships within the family (as an ideal model of intimate relationships, procreation and rearing of children).

This model of family is defined by the FCP to represent the most likely organization which will produce peace and harmony in the family itself, which will translate in a positive "return on investment" for society, as the family develops and becomes prosperous.

There is no ulterior motive on our part (i.e.: we are not called, as a party, to evangelization, which is the realm of religion), but we maintain that the government is responsible not only for the life of individuals, but also for the preservation of the environment which individuals need to grow and thrive. That is the family, the basic institution, the building block that ultimately, together with other families, forms society.
